NHS Digital is looking for a SQL DBA/Developer on a 12 month fixed-term contract to manage the data for My NHS, which is a website commissioned by the Secretary of State.
Specifically the role will be providing DBA and development support for platforms hosting multiple high profile web applications for NHS England, PHE & NHS Digital. This will include all aspects of:
- core enterprise infrastructure
- end user computing
- server compute and storage
- network and security
- voice, video and collaboration solutions.
The supported platforms are varied in technology mixture of SQL 2008R2/2012/2016 and Azure SQL DB, therefore, a good general IT background is desirable, also the ability and desire to learn about new technologies at short notice.

The role is based in Leeds with some travel to London. Out of hours support to cover 24/7 may be required on a 1 in 3 basis.
